I started by resin casting, then purchased my first lathe, and began making stainless steel and wood rings.
As I dove deeper into the world of ring-making, I discovered glowing materials that could be used to make rings that glowed in the dark.
Intrigued, I started investigating further by making my own glowing material.
After many attempts and errors, I finally found the perfect combination of glowing powders to make the best glowing rings.
One day, I installed darkening blinds in my bedroom, and suddenly my room became completely dark.
The only source of light came from the glowing rings I’ve made.
Then, I had a brilliant idea… to paint glowing stars on the ceiling in my bedroom.
I mixed some pigment with the paint and began testing different amounts of the glowing powder.
With the perfect mix in hand, I began painting the stars on my ceiling.
As I painted, I became lost in my work, creating a galaxy that was both inspiring and calming.

What is the deffereence between Stars Glows Kit and Star Maker service?
Stars Glows Kit is a “do it yourself” kit, with all the necessary tools and components for painting your true-to-life glowing in the dark ceiling.
Star Maker is my service in which I go to the client’s home personally and paint the highest quality true-to-life glowing in the dark stars. I also use a laser projector to recreate the exact star pattern from chosen location and time. So my clients can order star patterns from the day they met each other, their anniversary, from the day their kid was born, religious date and place or from their favourite character from history and look at the same star pattern which occurred on that place and time in history.
Is it safe?
The glowing powder is safe to use. Of course, it is not intended for consumption but it is 100% safe to use as glowing paint. After the painting process, the glowing powder is neutral for the organism.
Why and how does it glow?
The emission of light is due to the movement of electrons between different energy levels within an atom after excitation by external factors. It has nothing to do with radioactivity. It is simply an emission of the Foton.
As you are mixing a custom blend of luminescent powders, with regular paint you create glowing paint which accumulates light during the day and glow immediately after you turn the lights off.
Will it be visible during the day?
Can I use black paint?
In the kit, there is included white non-toxic water-based paint and I would advise you to use it. This is the easiest and safest solution which will guarantee the most amount of glow in the dark.
Potentially you could mix the custom blend of luminescent powders included in the kit, with some other colour paint that will match your ceiling colour but it can limit the amount of glow produced by the stars. The darker the colour the less it will glow, not allowing the light from the powder to pass thru. Black paint is the worst in this situation because it will block all the light. You can’t mix the powder with transparent paint or resin because it will make it white.
How long does it take to paint the whole ceiling?
But if you want to do fewer stars and doesn’t need to recreate specific galaxy pattern from the past then you can do it in 1-2h.
Is it difficult to reproduce stars on the ceiling?
It is pretty straightforward. First, you need to mix the white paint provided in the kit with the custom blend of luminescent powders using larger wooden sticks. Next, you need to soak short wooden sticks provided in the kit, in the paint and bounce them few times off the ceiling. Doing so You will create 5-10 dots of different sizes. Thanks to that when you will turn off all the lights you will start to first see the bigger “stars” and after a few minutes your eyes will adjust to the darkness and you will start to see more and more of them, just like in the real sky.
